Meta Eyes at Least $20 Billion Bond Offering to Fund Super Intelligence Infrastructure

Nov. 3 — Meta is looking to raise at least $20 billion through a cross-border bond offering, according to Bloomberg, with Citigroup and Morgan Stanley arranging the deal. The dollar bonds would have maturities of 5 to 30 years and the euro bonds maturities of roughly 4 to just over 38 years, with the proceeds funding the expansion of its super intelligence (SI) infrastructure.
The final size could grow depending on investor demand. Meta already issued $25 billion in bonds in April of this year and last week announced an equity financing plan of about $97.5 billion, the largest in its history; S&P Global last week cut its outlook on Meta to "negative" from "stable," citing uncertainty over capital spending and free cash flow.
