Sofwave Medical Ltd., an aesthetic medical device company based in San Clemente, in Orange County, California, reported third-quarter 2026 results on November 3: revenue of $28.5 million, up 35% year over year, including recurring usage-fee revenue of $13.3 million, up 60% and representing 47% of total revenue, and capital equipment revenue of $15.2 million, up 19%.

Gross profit was $21.8 million, up 41%, with IFRS gross margin expanding to 76.6% from 73.7% a year earlier. IFRS operating income was $4.4 million and IFRS net income $4.1 million, versus $1.0 million a year earlier - the company's sixth consecutive quarter of positive IFRS net income - and it generated $2.6 million in cash during the quarter. Cash, cash equivalents and short-term deposits stood at $41.4 million as of September 30. Revenue for the first nine months was $82.9 million, up 41%, with IFRS net income of $7.9 million.

On the business side, the company received approval in the third quarter from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) to market the Sofwave System in mainland China to improve mid-to-lower facial wrinkles in adults aged 22 and older, supported by a 200-subject randomized controlled study in China. Working with HTDK, which leads marketing, distribution and sales in mainland China, the company received an initial order for 70 systems, with 10 shipped in the third quarter and the remaining 60 scheduled for the fourth quarter. CEO Louis Scafuri said usage fees reaching 47% of revenue reflected growing treatment activity across its expanding provider network. Its proprietary SUPERB ultrasound technology holds eight U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearances.

Sofwave said about 3,400 of its systems have been sold to date and about 1.1 million treatments administered since commercialization. Third-quarter revenue by geography was 49% North America, 37% Asia-Pacific, 12% EMEA and 2% Latin America. The company is listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE: SOFW) and also offers the Pure Impact electrical muscle stimulation line.
