Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie Reunite for Seventh Film: Netflix Revenge Action Movie 'Dogfight'
Actor Jason Statham will reunite with director Guy Ritchie for the Netflix revenge action film "Dogfight." Ritchie will write, direct and produce the film, which Netflix describes as a stylish revenge actioner set in the London criminal underworld, with production set to get underway in the UK in early 2027.
Statham will also produce, alongside Ivan Atkinson and John Friedberg, with production companies including Black Bear, Ritchie's Toff Guy Films and Statham's Punch Palace. No further casting has been announced, Netflix has not set a release date, and no further plot details have been shared.
The film marks the seventh collaboration between Ritchie and Statham and their first made for Netflix. Their partnership began with "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" in 1998, the first film of each of their careers, and continued with "Snatch," "Revolver," "Wrath of Man" and "Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre"; their sixth film together, "Viva La Madness," is still to come.
