Little Tokyo Service Center Spotlights Angelina Preschool: Small Classes, Individual Plans, Free for Qualifying Families
Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC), a nonprofit based in Little Tokyo in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, spotlighted the early-childhood approach of its Angelina Preschool in its November 3 newsletter: big dreams start in small classrooms, with small class sizes and individual education plans giving each child a personalized early education.
Angelina Preschool is located in one of LTSC's affordable housing developments. LTSC said the preschool prioritizes individual education plans and small classroom sizes so teaching can be tailored to each child's pace and needs.
The preschool is free for qualifying families. Beyond the classroom, it also connects families to LTSC's network of social services and affordable housing services. LTSC is headquartered at 231 E 3rd St in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles.
In the same newsletter, LTSC published a voter guide for Election Day, reminding the low-income and multilingual families it serves that the November 3 ballot carries many items affecting their communities, and that ballots can be cast in person or dropped off by 8 p.m. Pacific time today.
