Paris Jackson Asks Court to Order $600 Million of Estate Transferred Into Family Trust

Paris Jackson filed a petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court on October 29, disclosed in court filings on November 3, arguing that the Michael Jackson family trust remains unfunded 17 years after her father's death. She asked the court to order roughly $600 million transferred into the trust for her and her brothers Prince, 29, and Bigi, 24.
The filings put the estate's cash and equivalents at about $850 million at the end of 2024. Under the trust's terms, the three children receive income from age 21 and principal in stages at 30, 35 and 40.
The estate's executors responded that Jackson's claims are 'completely fabricated,' that more than $200 million has already been distributed, and that the trust cannot be fully funded until a roughly $700 million tax dispute with the IRS is resolved. A hearing is scheduled for December 4.
