Greenwood and Mason Reelected to Kittery Town Council in Maine

Unofficial results released November 4 in Kittery, York County, Maine, showed incumbent Town Council members Megan Greenwood and Scott Mason winning reelection in a three-way race for two seats. Greenwood led the field with 3,925 votes and Mason took the second seat with 2,504; the third candidate, William Peirce, received 1,346. Both winners were elected to three-year terms ending in November 2029.
Mason was first elected in November 2023 and has completed his first full term. Greenwood won her seat last fall, finishing the remaining year of former councilor Cameron Hamm's term after he left the state for a new military assignment, and has now won a full term. Peirce, a local landlord and citizen member of the town Housing Committee, has now run unsuccessfully for the council in three straight elections.
Residents Carol James and Edie Davis Quinn were also elected to three-year terms on the School Committee in an uncontested race. Kittery is Maine's southernmost coastal town; its council oversees the local budget, land use and public services. Results are unofficial pending certification.
