Fremont Street Experience President Atkinson Moves to the Strat as President on November 9

Cliff Atkinson, president and CEO of Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, is leaving to become president of the Strat, the tower on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip, effective November 9. The move was reported by local gaming media on November 4. Atkinson took over Fremont Street Experience on February 17, 2026, serving about nine months. Fremont Street has not named a successor.
Atkinson succeeds Skylar Dice at the Strat, who has moved to vice president and general manager at Aliante. The Strat belongs to Golden Entertainment, which went private on April 30, 2026, in a deal that put its real estate with VICI Properties and the operations with CEO Blake Sartini's private company under long-term leases.
The change comes at a key moment for downtown Las Vegas tourism. Fremont Street Experience also priced its New Year's Eve admission this week at $35, down from $60 last year. The downtown pedestrian district is a major visitor draw, and its leadership change and holiday plans will shape the year-end tourist season.
