Costco October Net Sales Rise 12.6 Percent to $24.5 Billion as Warehouse Count Reaches 943
Costco Wholesale Corporation reported sales results for October 2026 on November 4. For the four weeks ended November 1, net sales were $24.50 billion, up 12.6 percent from $21.75 billion a year earlier. For the first nine weeks of fiscal 2027, net sales were $54.52 billion, up 12.8 percent from $48.33 billion a year earlier.
Reported comparable sales for the four-week period rose 11.1 percent companywide, with the U.S. up 12.6 percent, Canada up 4.9 percent and other international markets up 9.4 percent. Excluding the impacts of gasoline prices and foreign exchange, comparable sales rose 7.3 percent companywide, with the U.S. up 8.1 percent, Canada up 3.5 percent and other international markets up 6.9 percent. For the nine-week period, reported comparable sales rose 11.3 percent, or 7.5 percent excluding gasoline and foreign exchange.
Digitally enabled comparable sales rose 22.5 percent on a reported basis in the four-week period, or 22.6 percent excluding foreign exchange, and rose 20.5 percent, or 20.6 percent excluding foreign exchange, over nine weeks.
Costco currently operates 943 warehouses worldwide, including 651 in the United States and Puerto Rico, 115 in Canada, 43 in Mexico, 37 in Japan, 29 in the United Kingdom, 20 in South Korea, 15 in Australia, 14 in Taiwan, seven in China, five in Spain, three in France, two in Sweden, and one each in Iceland and New Zealand.
