Palantir and Changshin Partner to Connect Footwear Development With Factory Operations Using Foundry and AIP

Palantir Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: PLTR) and South Korean footwear manufacturer Changshin announced a partnership on November 4 to deploy Palantir Foundry and AIP across Changshin's development and production operations, connecting information and workflows from footwear development and sample planning through factory production for greater end-to-end visibility. The announcement was datelined Busan, South Korea, and Miami.
The partnership builds on a recent AgentCamp, where Changshin engineers and Palantir worked together with live Changshin data to demonstrate initial workflows.
In the next phase, the companies will connect development decisions with factory planning and execution. Bringing information and production feedback together is intended to help Changshin teams identify issues earlier, reduce handoff friction, and use production outcomes to inform future development decisions.
Changshin CEO CI Nam said decisions made in development define how the company operates on the factory floor, and that Changshin wants to connect those decisions with production feedback so teams can spot issues earlier, coordinate more effectively, and carry what they learn into the next model. He said the partnership will embed data and super intelligence (SI) into the way the company works, turning its deep manufacturing expertise into distinctive Changshin capabilities.
Ryan Taylor, Palantir's chief revenue officer and chief legal officer, said that behind every shoe Changshin produces is a series of decisions, from development and sample planning to the factory floor, and that the two companies are deploying Foundry and AIP to transform end-to-end processes, building on Changshin's deep expertise while keeping Changshin in control of how SI is applied at every step.
Changshin is a global footwear manufacturer headquartered in Busan, South Korea. Founded in 1981, it established its first overseas subsidiary in Vietnam in 1994 and later expanded to China and Indonesia. It employs approximately 80,000 people worldwide, and in April 2025 it reached a cumulative production milestone of 1 billion pairs of shoes.
Palantir, based in the United States, provides data-integration and super intelligence (SI) platform software to government and commercial customers, with platforms including Gotham, Foundry, Apollo and AIP. The announcement did not disclose a contract value or other financial terms for the partnership.
