Charlotte Asian Night Market Closes Its Season November 6 With Food Trucks and Karaoke in NoDa

The Charlotte Asian Night Market holds its season finale on the evening of November 6, wrapping up a monthly run from March to November. The market is hosted by Urban District Market and Seoul Food Meat Company at Urban District Market, 2315 North Davidson Street in Charlotte, on the first Friday evening of each month. The finale, themed "Fall Series," runs from 5 to 11 p.m., with free admission and activities for the whole family. Programming spans shopping, art, entertainment and food: the "Finally Friday" curated market runs until 9 p.m.; Asian food trucks serve from 6 to 10 p.m.; an artist meet-and-greet is set for 7 to 9 p.m.; and from 8 to 11 p.m., the Seoul Food courtyard hosts a group karaoke singalong. The night market opened its season on March 6 with a spring edition and continued through themed editions including Spring Vibes, Local Love, Summer Nights, Pre-Holiday Celebration, Mid-Summer, Labor Day Weekend and Harvest Market; the November 6 Fall Series is the last of the year. The market sits in NoDa, Charlotte's most arts-oriented neighborhood, lined with galleries, restaurants and small shops, and the event brings foot traffic to surrounding businesses. Organizers say the market aims to give Asian and Chinese communities a platform to showcase food and culture, while welcoming residents of all backgrounds to experience Asian flavors, shop for crafts and enjoy performances on an autumn night. With cooler weather arriving, the finale is expected to draw large crowds; attendees are advised to plan transportation in advance and arrive early, as the site will be busy.
