First Performers Announced for the 60th CMA Awards: Ella Langley, Miranda Lambert and More Take the Stage Nov. 18
The 60th Annual CMA Awards will be held on Wednesday, November 18, at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, in Davidson County, Tennessee. The Country Music Association (CMA) and ABC announced the first round of performers on November 5, with eight acts confirmed for the stage and a special tribute to Dolly Parton planned for the night.
The first performers are Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Ella Langley, Tim McGraw, Kacey Musgraves, The Red Clay Strays, Zach Top and Tucker Wetmore. Lainey Wilson hosts for a third consecutive year. The show airs live from 8 to 11 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, and streams the next day on Hulu. Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the weeks ahead, and a limited number of tickets remain on sale, the CMA said.
Ella Langley leads this year's nominees with nine nods, including Entertainer, Album, Female Vocalist, Musical Event and Music Video of the Year, plus two nominations each for Single and Song of the Year, after taking home three CMA Awards last year. Miranda Lambert earns seven nominations, including her 19th for Female Vocalist of the Year; her 70 career nominations are the most of any female artist in CMA Awards history.
Reigning Male Vocalist of the Year Cody Johnson is up for four awards, including Entertainer of the Year. Kacey Musgraves earns five nominations. Newly inducted Country Music Hall of Fame member Tim McGraw, who has 40 career CMA nominations, will mark the milestone with a performance. Reigning Vocal Group of the Year The Red Clay Strays are nominated again in the category, reigning New Artist of the Year Zach Top is a two-time nominee, and Tucker Wetmore earns his second nomination, in New Artist of the Year.
First held in 1967, the CMA Awards is the longest-running annual music awards program on network television and marks its 60th anniversary in 2026. Winners are determined by CMA's professional voting membership.
