Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: HTZ), based in Estero, Florida, reported results for the third quarter of 2026, ended September 30, on November 5, 2026. Revenue totaled $2.617 billion, up approximately 6% year over year and the company's best quarterly revenue performance in three years. Adjusted Corporate EBITDA was $233 million, a 15% year-over-year improvement and also its best quarter in three years.

GAAP net income for the quarter was $116 million, down from $184 million a year earlier, with diluted GAAP EPS of $0.20. Adjusted net income was $67 million and adjusted diluted EPS was $0.14. Revenue per Unit rose about 5% to $1,639 per month and Revenue per Day rose about 5% to $64.06, the third consecutive quarter of sequential improvement in both metrics; RPD in the U.S. core business increased approximately 8%, partly offset by softness in the International segment.

By segment, Americas RAC revenue was $2.045 billion, up 7%, with Adjusted EBITDA of $188 million, up 23%. International RAC revenue was $572 million, up 1%, with Adjusted EBITDA of $94 million, down 9%. Hertz ended the third quarter with approximately $946 million of liquidity.

Fleet economics remained stable, with net depreciation per unit of $285 per month, in line with expectations; at an average age of nine months, Hertz's U.S. core fleet is the youngest it has been in 12 years. The company's mobility platform, Oro Mobility, recently secured an $80 million strategic equity investment from a consortium of investors, establishing it as a standalone growth platform; Oro drivers have completed more than ten million miles to date, and its first autonomous-vehicle partnership is now underway in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Chief Executive Officer Gil West said Hertz delivered its strongest quarterly revenue and Adjusted Corporate EBITDA performance in three years, driven by continued revenue growth and margin expansion on flat capacity, and that the underlying progress in its core U.S. rental business is meaningful.
