PENN Entertainment, Inc. (Nasdaq: PENN), based in Wyomissing, Berks County, Pennsylvania, reported third-quarter 2026 results on November 5: total revenues of $1.84 billion, compared with $1.717 billion a year earlier; net income of $32.6 million, compared with a net loss of $865.1 million a year earlier; diluted earnings of $0.24 per share, compared with a loss of $6.03 per share; adjusted EPS of $0.32; and consolidated adjusted EBITDA of $284.0 million, up from $194.9 million.

The Retail segment posted record third-quarter revenues of $1.5 billion, with segment adjusted EBITDAR of $501.8 million and margins of 33.7%. The company said retail results came in better than expected, driven by same-store growth and contributions from completed development projects, with rated revenue and spend per visit up across all age segments and segment adjusted EBITDAR margins improving year over year for the third consecutive quarter.

The Interactive segment reported revenues of $348.4 million, including a tax gross-up of $191.4 million, and an adjusted EBITDA loss of $18.3 million, sharply narrower than the $76.6 million loss a year earlier. The company said U.S. standalone Hollywood iCasino kept growing, Ontario iCasino and online sports betting gained users and revenue per user, and its new Alberta operations were off to a good start, keeping the full-year interactive adjusted EBITDA target in reach.

As of September 30, total liquidity was $2.0 billion, including $1.0 billion of cash and cash equivalents, and traditional net debt was $1.8 billion.

Chief Executive Officer and President Jay Snowden said: "PENN's third quarter results were highlighted by strong year-over-year growth in Retail Segment Adjusted EBITDAR, continued progress toward Interactive profitability, and further balance sheet deleveraging." He added that the healthy operating trends across both segments continued through October. (Source: PENN Entertainment)
