International Quilt Festival Opens November 12 in Houston: 1,400+ Quilts and 500 Booths at the George R. Brown Convention Center

The International Quilt Festival returns to the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Harris County, Texas, on November 12-15, 2026, with classes beginning November 10. Organizer Quilts, Inc. bills it as the world's largest quilt show.
Festival materials say this year's show will display more than 1,400 antique, traditional, art and modern quilts and works of textile art, with 500 shopping booths offering fabrics, books, patterns, tools, sewing machines and crafts, and more than 275 lectures and classes taught by nearly 90 teachers. Organizer figures put 2025 attendance at more than 35,000 visitors from all 50 states and more than 25 countries.
Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. November 12-14 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. November 15. Daily admission is $18, with children 10 and under free; class enrollment includes show admission, a pin and a program, so enrollees do not need separate tickets. Groups of 25 or more can contact the organizer for tour pricing.
Quilts, Inc. has previously announced that the fall International Quilt Market has been discontinued permanently. The George R. Brown Convention Center is at 1001 Avenida de las Americas, Houston, TX 77010. Details are at quilts.com. (Source: Quilts, Inc)
