KISS Mark 50 Years of 'Rock and Roll Over' With a Super Deluxe Box Today: 130 Tracks, 100 Previously Unreleased
KISS celebrate the 50th anniversary of their fifth studio album, Rock and Roll Over, with a Super Deluxe box set released November 6 by UMe, in 6-LP plus Blu-ray Audio and 4-CD plus Blu-ray Audio editions, gathering 130 tracks, including 100 previously unreleased recordings and mixes.
The first disc is a new Bernie Grundman remaster of the original 1976 album; the second is a brand-new 2026 stereo mix by original producer Eddie Kramer, with Dolby Atmos and 5.1 mixes of both versions on the Blu-ray. The remaining discs hold demos, outtakes and live recordings from the band's four nights at Tokyo's Budokan in 1977, alongside a 104-page hardcover book and a replica 1976 press kit.
Preview releases included a live "Makin' Love" from the April 2, 1977 Budokan show and Kramer's 2026 mix of "Calling Dr. Love."
