STORRS, Conn. — The No. 2 UConn women's basketball team saw its 39-game regular-season winning streak end on November 5, falling 77-66 on the road to No. 5 Michigan at Crisler Center in Ann Arbor, in the first-ever meeting between the programs as AP top-five teams.

Michigan's Te'Yala Delfosse scored a career-high 22 points and Olivia Olson added 19, as the Wolverines opened the fourth quarter with a 13-2 run to lock up the win.

UConn had not lost a regular-season game since February 6, 2025. Freshman Jovana Popovic led the Huskies with 25 points, while last season's AP Player of the Year Sarah Strong was held to 13 points before fouling out. UConn next hosts No. 10 Iowa on November 8.
