49ers Receiver Brandon Aiyuk's Arrest Warrant Still Active as He Meets With Team
SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The arrest warrant for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk remained active on November 6, the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office confirmed to NBC Sports Bay Area. Aiyuk and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, were scheduled to meet with the team at its facility at 3 p.m. on November 6 to discuss the receiver's future. Asked about his expectations for the meeting, head coach Kyle Shanahan said, 'I don't know — your guess is as good as mine,' and when asked what outcome he hoped for, he replied, 'I don't care at all.'
The warrant stems from a December 2025 speeding incident in which Aiyuk allegedly drove his newly purchased Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing at high speed near Levi's Stadium and posted video of it on social media; he faces a misdemeanor charge of exhibition of speed. Aiyuk has filed for reinstatement with the league, and he and the 49ers remain in a dispute over roughly $13 million in signing-bonus money.
