Prince Harry Steps Down as BetterUp Chief Impact Officer, Moves to Senior Advisor Role

SAN FRANCISCO — Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, is stepping down as chief impact officer of the online mental health coaching company BetterUp after five years and transitioning to a senior advisor role, the company's chief executive and co-founder Alexi Robichaux announced in a statement posted on the company website on November 6.
Harry, 42, joined BetterUp as chief impact officer in 2021 and became one of the most high-profile names attached to the Silicon Valley company. Robichaux said that, after five incredible years together, Harry will in his new role focus on key projects with some of the company's largest enterprise customers, and that the change gives him more time to grow his portfolio of investments, pursue new business opportunities and continue his support of philanthropic causes close to his heart.
The role change follows Harry's move back to the United Kingdom with his family for an extended stay. BetterUp said it will continue its partnership with the Invictus Games Foundation, which Harry founded, supporting veterans as they strengthen their resilience and reach their goals in recovery and growth.
