San Francisco's Dumpling Time Opens Its First Idaho Location in Boise

Dumpling Time, the San Francisco-born dumpling brand, opened on November 6 at the Warehouse Food Hall in downtown Boise, Idaho — its first location outside the San Francisco Bay Area and the second Idaho restaurant for its parent, Omakase Restaurant Group. The San Francisco-based group also runs Michelin-starred Niku Steakhouse and Boise's Raibu Sushi Bar; its CEO, Kash Feng, is a Chinese-American entrepreneur born in Xi'an.
The new outpost uses a streamlined fast-casual model with counter service, offering the brand's best-known dishes. In its November 6 announcement the company called the Boise opening the first step of the brand's expansion beyond the Bay Area. The Warehouse Food Hall is a popular dining destination in downtown Boise, and the new counter welcomed its first guests on opening day.
