MagicCon: Atlanta Adds Free Day Zero Gathering on November 12 for Early Trading and Play
In Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, Journey's End Games, in collaboration with Tales of Adventure, announced on November 6 a new Day Zero event ahead of MagicCon: Atlanta, giving Magic: The Gathering players and collectors an additional day to meet, play and trade cards.
The gathering is scheduled for Thursday, November 12, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern on the second floor of the Signia Hotel, attached to the Georgia World Congress Center. Admission is free and no convention badge is required. Players can meet Magic content creators, browse single cards, trade and play; eight featured creators have been announced so far, including Taalia Vess, Zabracus and Anna Margaret. Event updates are posted through Journey's End Games' social pages.
MagicCon: Atlanta runs November 13 to 15 at the Georgia World Congress Center and includes Magic World Championship 32. Day Zero takes place on the preceding Thursday, giving players and collectors who arrive early a place to gather before the main convention opens. The organizers said the added day responds to demand from the collector community.
