The Vermont State Police reported on November 6 that troopers from the Berlin Barracks arrested a 30-year-old man in the Town of Williamstown, in Orange County, Vermont, on charges of domestic assault, interference with access to emergency services and resisting arrest.

At 4:55 p.m. on November 6, troopers responded to a reported domestic disturbance on Interstate 89 southbound near Exit 5 in Williamstown. Through investigation, troopers determined that Malcolm Wolfe, 30, of Glens Falls, had interfered with a household member's ability to contact emergency services and had caused that individual to fear serious bodily injury. Wolfe was placed under arrest; the case number is 26A3009273 and the investigating trooper is Alyssa Nozka of the Berlin Barracks. The State Police do not release the names of victims of domestic violence.

Wolfe was transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing and then to the Northeast Correctional Complex, where he was held on $5,000 bail. He was cited to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Orange County Criminal Division, on November 9, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. The State Police note that court dates and times are subject to change at the discretion of the court.
