Wildlights Opens Nov. 20 at the Columbus Zoo for Its 38th Year, Included with Admission
Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium opens November 20, 2026, and runs through January 3, 2027. During the run the zoo opens at noon, with lights from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; the zoo is closed on Thanksgiving and December 24 and 25. The zoo is at 4850 West Powell Road in Powell, Delaware County, Ohio.
Now in its 38th year, the exhibition covers the grounds with millions of LED lights and adds a new Starlight Safari area built around seven giant illuminated animal sculptures. Guests can visit animal exhibits in the afternoon and stay for the lights after dark.
Wildlights carries no separate charge and is included with regular zoo admission: online admission for ages 10 to 59 is $34.95, Franklin County residents pay $24.95 with proof of residency, and members enter free with an advance online registration. Tickets are sold at columbuszoo.org. (Source: Columbus Zoo and Aquarium)
