Warhammer Survivors Launches Day One on Game Pass November 10: Pixel Bullet-Heaven Action From Auroch Digital and poncle
The Warhammer universe is about to get a pixel-art bullet storm. Microsoft's November 3 announcement of the first wave of Xbox Game Pass additions for November confirms that Warhammer Survivors launches on November 10 — and arrives on Game Pass the same day, for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members, playable on cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld and PC.
The game is an officially licensed Warhammer title from Auroch Digital, developed in partnership with poncle, the studio behind Vampire Survivors. As the name suggests, it transplants the Vampire Survivors formula — one hero carving through screen-filling hordes — into the Warhammer setting, where players take control of the setting's storied champions against waves of enemy factions.
According to Xbox, players will unleash devastating barrages of bullets, blades and magic in the addictive bullet-heaven action of Warhammer Survivors, with Warhammer's champions, enemy factions, weapons and more meticulously handcrafted in animated pixel art — the retro look paired with dense, screen-filling combat that made poncle's name.
Vampire Survivors became a global phenomenon on the strength of minimalist controls and compulsive runs, collecting multiple game-of-the-year honors and inspiring a wave of imitators. The pairing of its creators with the Warhammer license has made Survivors one of the most anticipated entries in November's lineup.
Beyond Game Pass, NVIDIA's schedule shows Warhammer Survivors also launching November 10 on Steam and on the GeForce NOW cloud service. Game Pass members can play from day one at no additional cost.
