Raiders Rule Out Booker for 49ers Game as Final Injury Report Lands
The Las Vegas Raiders released their final injury report for the game against the San Francisco 49ers on Nov. 7, with defensive tackle Thomas Booker ruled out for Sunday, adding to the defense's losses. Head coach Klint Kubiak and Friday's final injury report confirmed Booker cannot play, putting more pressure on the Raiders' defensive front. The Raiders host the 49ers on Sunday, needing a win to turn their season around.
By comparison, the Raiders may still hold an edge on the injury front: the 49ers are hurting more, expected to be without Mike Evans, Christian Kirk and Deebo Samuel among others, leaving their offense short-handed. Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty has been in poor form, and rookie Mike Washington nearly out-snapped him last week; the coaching staff hopes the competition will wake Jeanty up against the 49ers. With both teams depleted, the outcome may hinge on which side copes better with its absences and exploits the other's weaknesses.
