Temecula Opens Applications for Holiday Home Decorating Display; Map Due Week of December 7
The City of Temecula, in Riverside County, California, has opened online applications for its 2026 Holiday Home Decorating Display. Residents who deck their homes with extravagant lights or festive inflatables can apply to have their home included on the official map.
The map will be published online during the week of Dec. 7, 2026, letting residents plan their own driving or walking tour of decorated homes across the city, in a newer holiday tradition that strings neighborhood displays into one self-guided route.
The display joins a city holiday season that includes Santa's Arrival on Nov. 27, the Christmas Tree Lighting on Nov. 30, Santa's Electric Light Parade on Dec. 4 and the New Year's Eve Grape Drop on Dec. 31.
