[Video] Trivium's Eleventh Album 'Crown In The Grave' Arrives November 20: Recorded Entirely at the Band's Own Hangar, Title-Track Video Out Now

Sunday, November 8, 2026 · Music · GSM News

American metal band Trivium release their eleventh studio album, Crown In The Grave, through Roadrunner Records on November 20. It is their first full-length since 2021's In the Court of the Dragon, their first studio album with drummer Alex Rüdinger, and the first record they have made entirely at their own facility, The Hangar, a converted aircraft hangar in Orlando, Florida, that serves as the band's rehearsal space, studio and creative headquarters.

Produced by Josh Wilbur and mixed by Jacob Hansen, the twelve-track album includes the already released Dead Inside Of Me and the title track, Crown In The Grave, whose video, directed by Pavel Trebukhin, draws on Japanese Noh theatre and Akira Kurosawa's Throne of Blood. Frontman Matthew K. Heafy has said that with an eleventh record it would be easy to rest on what the band has done before, and that the group set out to top it.

Earlier this month the band also released a live performance of Fugue, from their 2003 debut, filmed at The Hangar. Their North American tour with In Flames and others began November 5 in St. Petersburg, Florida, and runs through December 19 in Charlotte, North Carolina. This story carries the band's official title-track video.
