Grand Theft Auto VI Countdown to November 19 Launch: Standard Edition $79.99 and Ultimate Edition $99.99, Digital Pre-Loading From November 12 and a Download Code Inside the Physical Box

Grand Theft Auto VI will launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at $79.99, according to a Take-Two Interactive investor-relations release from its Rockstar Games publishing label. Pre-orders began on June 25, 2026, at midnight local time.
The Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition will be available for $99.99, with an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and action threaded across Jason and Lucia's story. All pre-orders and purchases before November 20, 2026, will include the Vintage Vice City Pack, alongside a free month of GTA+ for digital pre-orders, instantly redeemable so players can jump into Grand Theft Auto V and other classic Rockstar titles in the GTA+ Games Library.
Players who pre-order digital versions will be able to begin pre-loading on November 12, 2026, to play at launch on November 19. The physical version, containing a download code inside the box rather than a disc, will also be available starting November 12 to support pre-loading. The game will be sold through the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Store and global retailers, and is not yet rated.
The official synopsis sets the story in Vice City, USA, in the fictional state of Leonida: when an easy score goes wrong, Jason and Lucia find themselves in the middle of a conspiracy stretching across the state, forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive. Take-Two said the Grand Theft Auto series has sold in over 470 million units worldwide.
