Nvidia Senior Director Madison Huang Cancels South Korea Trip at Short Notice; Yonhap Cites Family Reasons

SEOUL — A planned visit to South Korea by Madison Huang, a senior director at Nvidia, has been abruptly canceled, Yonhap News Agency reported on November 8, citing South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT and industry sources. Huang leads product and technical marketing for Nvidia's physical AI platform and is the eldest daughter of Nvidia Chief Executive Jensen Huang.
Huang had been due to arrive on Sunday to attend the Nvidia AI Day Seoul 2026 event at the COEX exhibition center on Monday and Tuesday, November 9 and 10, and to meet officials including Deputy Prime Minister and Science Minister Bae Kyung-hoon. Sources said the trip was called off for "family reasons," without further details, and the meetings with Korean officials were canceled as well.
The AI Day event will go ahead as scheduled, with other Nvidia executives attending in her place.
