Maryland Wins 34-29 at Purdue to End a 13-Game Big Ten Losing Streak

COLLEGE PARK, Maryland — Maryland's football team won 34-29 at Purdue on November 7, its first Big Ten victory since a road win at Wisconsin on September 20, 2025, ending a 13-game conference losing streak. Playing at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana, Maryland held off Purdue's fourth-quarter rally, and players carried interim head coach Aazaar Abdul-Rahim off the field in celebration. Abdul-Rahim, formerly the team's co-defensive coordinator, took over as interim coach after Mike Locksley departed on October 21; Locksley watched the game from a Big Ten network studio. Maryland improved to 3-6 overall and 1-5 in the Big Ten; Purdue lost its third straight, its bowl hopes all but gone.
