GLENDALE, Arizona — Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) and its partners will host a large-scale Care on the Go community event on November 21, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Black Lot on the southeast side of State Farm Stadium, offering free vaccinations, microchips and licenses to county residents' dogs.

The drive-thru event is for dogs only, with a total of 2,200 appointments. Residents must register online before 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 15; services are provided only to those with appointments, with no unscheduled walk-ups, a limit of two appointments per person, and an individual appointment required for every dog. All traffic must enter eastbound on Cardinals Way, and left turns into the entrance are not permitted.

Services at no cost include rabies vaccines, DA2PP vaccines, licensing and microchipping. At registration, participants can also sign up to be contacted for free spay and neuter services through Dr. Kelly's Surgical Unit and the Arizona Humane Society.

"Our Care on the Go events have been incredibly successful, and the continued interest in bringing this drive-through event back to Glendale speaks to the strong need for affordable pet care in our community," said Debbie McKnight, Director of MCACC. The department notes that almost one-third of pet owners do not take their pet to the vet once a year for preventive care, while parvovirus and distemper, the most prevalent deadly diseases affecting dogs, are preventable with a simple vaccine.

Partners include the #LovePup Foundation, Lulu's Fund, Petco Love, the Arizona Humane Society, the Arizona Animal Welfare League, Heidi's Village and Dr. Kelly's Surgical Unit, among others; the no-cost DA2PP vaccines come through Petco Love's national Vaccinated and Loved initiative. The stadium is at 1 Cardinals Dr, Glendale, AZ 85305, and details are at Maricopa.gov/COTG. (Source: Maricopa County Animal Care & Control)
