70 Million Christians Unite in Prayer for Jerusalem

The 24th Annual Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem was held on Oct. 4 in Jerusalem. Organizer Eagles' Wings says more than 70 million Christians from 175 nations are uniting to pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem - the largest such gathering in history - with over 500 senior Christian leaders from 50 countries attending at the Tower of David Museum and the event broadcast live worldwide.
Official delegations came from Nigeria, Kenya and Togo, and a Latin American delegation of 175 leaders representing 51 million Christians across the region also attended. "This is far more than a prayer event. It is a global declaration that Israel is not alone," said Eagles' Wings founder Bishop Robert Stearns.
Now in its 24th year, the event is rooted in the biblical call to "pray for the peace of Jerusalem" and has become the largest annual prayer initiative dedicated to Israel.
