[Video] Trump Signs Medal of Honor Monument Location Act for National Mall
President Trump signed the Hershel "Woody" Williams National Medal of Honor Monument Location Act, authorizing the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation to build a monument on the National Mall honoring recipients' valor, selfless service and sacrifice. The act is named for the last WWII Medal of Honor recipient, who died in 2022 and lay in honor at the U.S. Capitol. The Medal of Honor, established by President Lincoln and first awarded in 1863, is the nation's highest military decoration.
