Xa Koj Lub Npe Mus Rau Titan: NASA Qhib Kev Sau Npe Rau Lub Hom Phiaj Dragonfly Txog Lub Ib Hlis 15, 2027
NASA tshaj tawm rau lub Kaum Hli 29 tias pej xeem tam sim no tuaj yeem xa lawv cov npe mus rau lub hli loj tshaj plaws ntawm Saturn, Titan. Cov npe xa tuaj yuav raug suav nrog rau ntawm lub microchip ntawm lub Dragonfly rotorcraft, thiab cov neeg koom nrog yuav tau txais daim ntawv hla tebchaws digital uas ua kev nco txog lawv qhov chaw hauv lub luag haujlwm.
Cov pej xeem tuaj yeem nrhiav tau qhov chaw hauv Dragonfly daim ntawv teev cov neeg caij tsheb kom txog thaum 11:59 teev tsaus ntuj EST rau lub Ib Hlis 15, 2027, los ntawm [txuas: https://go.nasa.gov/dragonfly-names|NASA nplooj ntawv Xa Koj Lub Npe nrog Dragonfly].
"NASA lub luag haujlwm Dragonfly yuav ua rau koj xav tsis thoob," Nicky Fox, tus thawj coj pabcuam ntawm Science Mission Directorate ntawm NASA Lub Chaw Haujlwm hauv Washington hais. "Los ntawm kev ya thawj lub luag haujlwm tshawb fawb rotorcraft, NASA yuav tshawb nrhiav Saturn lub hli loj tshaj plaws, Titan, thaum peb nrhiav cov cim qhia tias muaj peev xwm nyob tau hauv lub ntiaj teb deb uas zoo ib yam li peb li. Peb zoo siab coj tib neeg mus rau txoj kev taug kev ntawm lub neej."
Lub dav hlau Dragonfly rotorcraft tam sim no tab tom sib sau ua ke ntawm Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) hauv Laurel, Maryland. Lub sijhawm teem tseg yuav tso tawm hauv xyoo 2028, nws yuav mus rau Titan, lub ntiaj teb uas muaj huab cua tuab, cov dej thiab cov pas dej ntawm cov kua methane, cov xuab zeb dav dav thiab thaj chaw nplua nuj nyob rau hauv cov khoom siv organic. Tom qab tuaj txog hauv xyoo 2034, Dragonfly yuav ya mus rau ntau qhov chaw ntawm lub hli, tshawb nrhiav Titan ntau qhov chaw sib txawv thiab nrhiav cov lus qhia txog prebiotic chemistry.
Dragonfly tab tom raug tsim thiab ua nyob rau hauv kev coj ntawm APL, uas yog tus thawj coj ntawm lub luag haujlwm rau NASA, nrog Elizabeth Turtle ntawm APL ua tus kws tshawb nrhiav tseem ceeb. Nws yog lub luag haujlwm thib plaub hauv NASA's New Frontiers Program, tswj hwm los ntawm NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center hauv Huntsville, Alabama, rau lub koom haum Science Mission Directorate.
