White House Releases 'Hello, America' to Promote Federal Portal America.gov: First-Time Passport Applications Go Fully Online Next Year

The White House's official channel released the 2-minute-17-second video 'Hello, America' on October 30, promoting America.gov, the federal government's single online home: a portal that brings services from across the entire government into one place, presented as making government simpler, faster and more effective.
The video says residents can use the portal to complete tasks such as health-care enrollment, finding doctors and getting medicines; the Department of Health and Human Services is a founding agency partner; and starting next year, Americans will be able to apply for a first passport entirely online. It frames the portal as a preview of what is possible with superintelligence (SI), over visuals including an aerial view of the Jefferson Memorial area and a building draped with banners reading 'Hello, America' and '09.29.26.'
America.gov launched in late September and was covered by GSM at the time.
