MAT Industries to Expand Jackson Plant Again in Tennessee: 85 Additional Jobs and a New Production Line

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee and Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter announced that MAT Industries will further expand its manufacturing operations in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee, adding a new production line to increase capacity and output and committing to create an additional 85 jobs. The plant is located at 213 Industrial Drive in Jackson.
The expansion is the next phase of an ongoing project: in June 2025, MAT Industries announced a $9 million investment at the same facility creating 30 jobs. Headquartered in Long Grove, Illinois, MAT Industries is a subsidiary of MAT Holdings, founded in 1984, and is a leading manufacturer of air compressors and air brake tanks under brands including Campbell Hausfeld, Powermate and Industrial Air; MAT Holdings operates more than 40 factories with over 14,000 employees on three continents.
Governor Lee said Tennessee is the best place in America to do business and welcomed the company's continued investment in Jackson. Commissioner McWhorter, MAT Industries Vice President of Operations Robbie Hite, Jackson Mayor Scott Conger and Madison County Mayor AJ Massey also praised the expansion, calling an existing employer's decision to grow again the strongest endorsement of the local workforce and business climate.
