The Las Vegas Raiders rallied to beat the New York Jets 38-33 on Sunday, November 1, in East Rutherford, New Jersey, in Week 8 of the NFL season. According to Reuters, Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins completed 19 of 26 passes for 247 yards with three touchdown passes and a rushing touchdown, as Las Vegas erased a pair of nine-point deficits by scoring 17 of the game's final 20 points to end a four-game skid, improve to 4-4 and snap a streak of 12 straight losses when trailing at halftime.

Two of Cousins' touchdown passes went to tight end Brock Bowers, including a 2-yard score a little over five minutes into the third quarter, and a 2-yard touchdown to Jalen Nailor gave Las Vegas a 35-30 lead with 11:33 left in the fourth. Cousins also scored on a 1-yard run with 4:14 left in the third to cut the deficit to 30-28. Bowers caught seven passes for 92 yards, and Mike Washington Jr. rushed for 83 yards on 25 carries.

The Jets scored on their first six possessions but repeatedly stalled in the red zone, with Jason Sanders making three of his four field goals in the first half as New York led 23-14. Sanders' fourth field goal with 4:31 left made it 35-33, but the Jets burned their timeouts and Matt Gay's 53-yard field goal with 27 seconds left sealed it before Jeremy Chinn intercepted Geno Smith's desperation heave. Smith finished 20 of 32 for 290 yards and two touchdowns; Braelon Allen rushed for a career-high 147 yards on 21 carries and Adonai Mitchell caught seven passes for a career-high 142 yards for the Jets, who fell to 2-6 with a third straight loss.
