Arthritis Foundation Unveils Renovated Atlanta Headquarters: Nearly 50 Years in Midtown, First In-House Media Studio

Thursday, October 22, 2026 · City · GSM News

In Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, the Arthritis Foundation announced on October 22 that its national headquarters at 1355 Peachtree Street in Midtown has been renovated and officially unveiled. The organization has been headquartered in Atlanta for nearly 50 years.

According to the foundation's release via ACCESS Newswire, the nearly 30,000-square-foot headquarters now includes the foundation's first in-house media production studio, the Jane Wyman Studio. Academy Award-winning actress Jane Wyman lived with rheumatoid arthritis and was a longtime foundation supporter, hosting Stop Arthritis telethons for decades and receiving the foundation's Charles B. Harding Award in 1977. The studio will be used to produce patient stories, educational content, podcasts and other multimedia programming.

"Atlanta has been our home for nearly 50 years, and this transformation represents both our commitment to the city and our vision for the future of the Arthritis Foundation," said Steve Taylor, the foundation's president and CEO. The renovation also adds refreshed meeting and collaboration spaces, multimedia donor displays and new artwork. Warren Hanks Construction Company completed the work, with design by Smart Interior Group. The foundation says nearly 60 million adults and children in the United States live with arthritis. Two ribbon-cutting ceremonies marked the unveiling, attended by foundation leaders, board members, volunteers and community partners. (GSM, based on the Arthritis Foundation release)
