Cole Haan opens its 600th store worldwide with a return to Boston's Back Bay
BOSTON, Massachusetts — Boston, in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, marked a retail milestone on October 22 as American lifestyle brand Cole Haan announced the opening of its 600th store worldwide at the Prudential Center. The new store, at 800 Boylston Street, Suite 133, is open Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and marks the brand's return to the Back Bay.
Cole Haan has deep New England ties: it was formerly headquartered in Yarmouth, Maine, and is now based in Greenland, New Hampshire. Since opening its 500th store in 2023, the brand has kept expanding, with recent additions in New York's Flatiron District and Disney Springs in Orlando, plus Shanghai's Taikoo Hui and Grand Gateway 66, Hong Kong's Harbour City, Nagoya's Midland Square, Mexico City, Jeddah and Cairo. Its products are sold in more than 100 countries.
"Reaching 600 stores reflects how far Cole Haan has come and the opportunity we see ahead," said CEO Jack Boys, adding that returning to Boston is especially meaningful given the brand's longstanding New England ties. The new store uses curved lines, archways and subtle lighting, and carries everything from sneakers and boots to oxfords and loafers, alongside handbags, accessories and outerwear. Cole Haan approaches its centennial in 2028 and is running its Fall 2026 "Comfortable Anywhere" campaign.
