BOSTON, Massachusetts — Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks joined The WBUR Breakfast Club at WBUR CitySpace on the morning of October 21 for a conversation with Morning Edition host Tiziana Dearing. According to the event's Eventbrite page, the session ran from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at WBUR CitySpace, 890 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, with doors opening at 7:30 a.m.

Hasbro had previously announced that it will move its headquarters from Pawtucket, Rhode Island, to Boston (background, not news of October 21). The new site, at 400 Summer Street in the Seaport District, will be the main headquarters for Hasbro's toys, board games, and licensing businesses and will include most of its corporate functions. The company will occupy about 265,000 square feet across seven floors; at least 700 full-time employees are expected to transition by the end of 2026, with staff beginning work at the new site in early 2027. Announcing the move, Cocks said Boston's thriving business community, deep academic partnerships, and cultural vibrancy give Hasbro an unparalleled foundation for growth. Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu have both welcomed the move. (GSM, based on the Eventbrite event page and WBZ NewsRadio)
