A high-speed chase tore through Dallas County, Texas, in the early hours of October 22, ending with a driver hiding in a backyard shed before being arrested.

According to FOX 4, Seagoville police said a Ford Mustang was traveling at over 100 mph on westbound U.S. Highway 175 at 1:28 a.m. Thursday. Officers attempted a traffic stop, but the driver sped away, sparking a 45-minute chase. The suspect drove into South Dallas, through Pleasant Grove and into East Dallas. Police said the car was eventually running on three tires and one heavily worn wheel before the driver crossed a grassy area, crashed into a fence, and ran into a backyard at 4600 Garland Ave., hiding inside a shed.

Officers repeatedly ordered the suspect to surrender, but he tried to barricade the shed door. Dallas police then fired pepper-ball rounds into the shed, forcing him out, and arrested him at the scene. Police have not released the suspect's identity. (GSM, based on FOX 4 reporting)
