RTD Unveils Proposed January 2027 Service Changes: Four Virtual Feedback Sessions Start October 27

DENVER, Colorado — The Regional Transportation District (RTD), serving Denver in Denver County, Colorado, announced on October 21 that it is seeking public feedback on proposed service changes for January 2027. RTD will hold four virtual meetings: an 'Ask a Service Planner' session at noon on October 27 and a session reviewing the proposed changes at 5:30 p.m. that evening, with the same pair repeated at noon and 5:30 p.m. on October 28; advance registration is required. An online survey runs through October 29, and riders may also comment through the agency's online service planning form, with feedback accepted through October 29.
RTD said the January 2027 recommendations mix service enhancements, service restorations and service optimizations, responding to customer and internal feedback, service performance, and the need to maintain and grow the transit network, and are designed to be cost neutral overall. If approved by the RTD Board of Directors, the changes would take effect on Sunday, January 3, 2027. (GSM, based on the RTD announcement)
