Winless at 0-5, the Dolphins Are Raising 2027 Season Ticket Prices by an Average of 3%

Wednesday, October 21, 2026 · Sports · GSM News

The Miami Dolphins, 0-5 and headed toward the first pick in the NFL Draft, announced on October 21 that 2027 season ticket prices will rise by an average of 3%, with some holders seeing increases of 5%. The team mailed renewal notices to season ticket holders this week. In 2027 the Dolphins will host nine regular-season home games (plus one preseason game), up from eight, meaning fans will pay more for a rebuilding team.

A team spokesperson said 2026 prices were held flat and some seats were even reduced. But fans reacted angrily to the timing: sports radio host and former Dolphins player Joe Rose called it 'a rough time to do this' on air; some fans posted bills showing prices rising year after year; and podcaster Brittney Lurie, whose seats will cost 8.6% more in 2027, protested with four crying emojis on social media.

By contrast, team owner Stephen Ross is selling a 2.1% stake in the team and its affiliated businesses to Chilean billionaire Jean Eric Salata — a deal worth roughly $260 million at the team's approximately $12.5 billion valuation. (GSM, from Palm Beach Post reporting)
