Sixers Hide Tickets Across Philadelphia on Wednesday: Free Home Opener Seats and Limited T-Shirts Up for Grabs
The Philadelphia 76ers announced an 'Opening Night Blue Drop' on Wednesday, October 21: the team will hide a pair of free tickets somewhere in Philadelphia, and the lucky fan who finds them can attend Thursday's home opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers for free. The team will also scatter limited-edition opening night T-shirts, sponsored by IBX, at locations across the city. The drop is part of the team's Blue Week celebrations, and fans can follow the team's official social accounts for clues.
The 76ers opened their regular season on October 20 with a 106-100 road win over the defending champion New York Knicks. Thursday's home opener will be the team's first game of the new season in Philadelphia. (GSM, from NBC Sports Philadelphia reporting)
