Phoenix is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona. Arizona media reported on October 14 that four Arizona Diamondbacks players were named finalists for the 2026 Rawlings Gold Glove Awards: shortstop Geraldo Perdomo, catcher Gabriel Moreno, right fielder Corbin Carroll and utility player Ildemaro Vargas, covering shortstop, catcher, right field and the utility category.
Perdomo ranked second among National League shortstops with eight defensive runs saved, and Moreno led NL catchers with 14 defensive runs saved, according to the reports. Carroll earned his second consecutive finalist selection in right field, and Vargas his first.
