Pittsburgh Sets Halloween Hours and City Events, Trick-or-Treat on Oct. 31
Pittsburgh is a city in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Pittsburgh Mayor Corey O'Connor announced that the city's official trick-or-treat hours will be October 31 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The city will also host family activities including Track & Treat, a City Hall Haunted Crawl and its first-ever Halloween house decorating contest, giving neighborhoods more ways to celebrate the season together.
City officials offered safety tips for trick-or-treaters: add reflective tape or clip-on lights to costumes and bags, make sure children can see properly through masks or makeup, walk on sidewalks rather than in streets, and have parents help children cross roads. The mayor thanked community organizations and the CitiParks team for organizing events across the city. (Source: City of Pittsburgh)
