Vietnam's National Innovation Celebration Held in Hanoi as InnoShow Wraps Up with Over 100 Booths

The central celebration ceremony of Vietnam's innovation programme was held on October 4 at the National Convention Center in Hanoi, hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, capping a series of events that began on September 25. Technology conglomerates including Samsung and Meta took part alongside financial institutions and credit organisations.
The accompanying National Science, Technology and Innovation Exhibition, Vietnam InnoShow 2026, ran from October 3 to 5 with more than 100 booths. The ceremony released the Annual Innovation Report 2026 and the Provincial Innovation Index, and presented awards for the 2026 Science Initiative competition and for science, technology, innovation and digital transformation books.
In Da Nang, the Son Tra Innovation Fest 2026 also opened on October 3 under the theme 'Global Technology Meets Local Lifestyle,' with about 30 booths on super intelligence and robotics and discussions on urban governance and education technology running through October 4.
The week's density reflected Vietnam's push to write innovation into national strategy: National Innovation Day on October 1, the embodied SI conference on October 2 and the central celebration on October 4 turned Hanoi's convention centre into the launch hall of Vietnamese technology policy for a week.
