Delta Jet Clips Air Canada Plane on LAX Tarmac; No Injuries

Two planes collided on the tarmac at Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday. A Delta Air Lines Airbus A350-900 struck an Air Canada passenger jet with its left wingtip while taxiing. Delta confirmed the Tokyo-bound flight was carrying 275 passengers and 15 crew members; no injuries were initially reported.
"While taxiing at Los Angeles International Airport, a Delta aircraft made contact with an Air Canada aircraft," Delta said in a statement. "Nothing is more important than the safety of our customers and people, and we apologize to our customers for the experience and delay in their travel."
The cause remains under investigation. (Via Fox News)
