Tustin: Council Approves Mariners Church Agreement and Senior Living Project
Tustin is a city in Orange County, California. On October 6, the Tustin City Council voted 3–1 to approve the second reading and adoption of the development agreement ordinance for Mariners Church, advancing its new religious assembly facility at Tustin Legacy. At the same meeting, the council voted 3–1 to approve a disposition and development agreement for a 172-unit senior living and memory care facility at Tustin Legacy, including affordable units. Both votes drew concerns from a council member over process and community-use guarantees.
