Irvine: 107-Unit Apartment Project Seeks Approval to Replace Aging Office Building
According to The Registry on October 7, Dupont Properties is seeking City of Irvine approval to demolish a 1971 office building of about 18,000 square feet on Dupont Drive and replace it with a 107-unit apartment project.
The proposal still needs city approvals and a public process. Irvine has seen a string of aging-office-to-housing conversions in recent years, adding new homes to the local supply.
