Friday, October 9, 2026 · World News · GSM News

MACAO — Tickets for the 73rd Macao Grand Prix went on public sale at noon on October 9. This year's meeting runs for four days, November 19 to 22, on the Guia Circuit, with practice days on November 19 and 20 and race days on November 21 and 22. First held in 1954, the Grand Prix is one of Macao's longest-running international sporting events.

Prices are split between practice and race days and are charged in patacas, with Hong Kong dollars accepted at par. Grandstand tickets cost MOP 100 on practice days and MOP 750 on race days; Lisboa Bend grandstand seats cost MOP 100 and MOP 1,200; and Reservoir grandstand seats cost MOP 100 and MOP 400. Macao residents holding a valid student card, aged 65 or above, or holding a disability assessment registration card may buy a concession Reservoir ticket for MOP 150 on race days, limited to one per person per day while stocks last. Each transaction is capped at 10 tickets, and children aged two or above need a ticket.

The programme features four FIA World Cup-level races: the Macao Grand Prix (FIA FR World Cup), the Macao GT Cup (FIA GT World Cup), the Guia Race (the Macao round of the FIA TCR World Tour) and the Macao Formula 4 Race (FIA F4 World Cup), alongside the 58th Macao Motorcycle Grand Prix, the Greater Bay Area GT Cup and the Macao Road Car Challenge. The FR World Cup main race headlines the final afternoon on November 22.

Part of the Reservoir Park has already been closed for circuit works. Organisers remind spectators to note on-site box office hours and entry rules: the main and Lisboa grandstands are covered, admission is one ticket per person, and large luggage is not allowed. Roads around the Guia Circuit will be closed or diverted during race week, and residents and visitors should plan journeys in advance and follow updates from the Sports Bureau and the Transport Bureau.
